Amnesiac Host (he/him) started producing with hardware around 2015, but the inspiration for the project came in 2017 after moving to Los Angeles. The project formally began in May 2018 when he performed as a guest artist at the ‘100% Live Techno’ party during Movement weekend.

After premiering a well-received hardware set, he co-founded the label Darkroom Bureau with like-minded hardware producer Coarses, which the two have mainly used to digitally distribute their own releases. In addition, Darkroom Bureau works as an event booking and promotion group, co-hosting the 100% Live Techno party with Paul Birken in 2019 and Headless Horseman in 2022.

In 2019, Amnesiac Host self-released his debut EP ‘nmap’ and followed with another EP ‘Manhattan Directorate’ for Darkroom Bureau. Then in 2020, he released ‘Nerion Shelter’ on Colombia-based Mephyst Label and made several V/A appearances for LA-based labels Operandi Records and The Black Lodge.

Recently, Amnesiac Host returned to Darkroom Bureau in August 2022 to release his newest EP ‘Two-Sided Ideal’. In support of the EP, he played a DJ set at the PHAASER party in Nashville and a live set for FANTASY1 in Austin. He’s open to opportunities through 2022 and beyond.
